BFA Show is Up and ER's show was Awesome

Finally I am almost ready to graduate with a bachelors of fine art. More important than walking in a commencement cereomony for an artist is the unveiling of the product of many years of hard work. Some of my work is on display at the BFA 2010 show at UVU's Woodbury Art Museum which is located at the University Mall in Orem, Utah.

Thanks to all who attended the opening reception, we had a great turnout. UVU Review covered the show in an article this week.

Many thanks to all who helped and participated with the ER show at Velour. If you didn't know they are my favorite, used to be local band, who moved to L.A. once known as Elizabethan Report. If you missed the show, BYU's Daily Universe summed it up pretty well in an article last week. The band decided to mix things up a bit and invited me to do some live interpretive art work as they played. I also displayed the individual pieces I created for their songs last summer as a part of receiving a scholarly research grant from UVU. Chris Juber edited video of the art making to the length of several songs and those videos were also played at the concert.

If anyone was able to take pictures at either event, please send them to me. The above picture with Johnny and Spencer (ER's guitarist) is the only proof I have of that weekend because I was too busy talking and drawing to take pictures.
